Dr. Mario is a solid all-around character, with a good projectile, strong moves, and decent movement. His recovery is his biggest weakness and is one of the worst in the entire game.
He lacks good disjoints and often struggles to get in on his opponents. Use your projectile, movement, and good grab to close the distance.
